This painting depicts the spear heads of the spears used to kill the wititj (snake) that swallowed the Wagilag Sisters. The Waglilag Sisters are ancient beings who came out of the southern interior, and one of the sisters accidentally allowed her blood to fall into the waterhole of the wititj. The wititj swallowed the sisters amidst thunder storms and rain, creating the first wet season.
