The painting depicts underground water soakages (white dots) along the Lander River system (fork) important to the Aboriginal people from Warntaparri country, in the Tanami Desert region of Central Australia.
The roundels represents campsite, where ceremonies were performed, which included chanting, singing and dancing action to invoke the Ancestral Beings to ensure rain.
