The artwork depicts yawulyu aboriginal dictionary button (body paint design).

The Warlpiri Aboriginal women from central Australia decorate their bodies with body paint designs/ markings with the use of pigments made from ochres, which are applied using brushes, made from sticks bound and thread. The markings themselves symbolise the actions of ancestral Dreaming's. The women tell stories while drawing in the sand with their hands - narratives of both ancestral and day-today significance.

Ceremonies include many song lines and dance cycles.
