The painting depicts the bush plum (Arnwekety) and the artists country, through layer upon layer of subtle hues (cream, pinks, peach & whites) overdotting, revealing underneath the topographical landscape, claypans, soakages and spinifex mounds.

The bush plum is a food source (bush tucker ) for the Anmatyerre and Alyawarre (tribal names) from the Eastern desert region of Central Australia. The women also celebrate the spirit of the bush plum in their ceremonies with song lines and dance cycles.
