The painting refers to the bush plum (Arnwekety) and the artists country, through layer upon layer of subtle hues (cream, pinks, peach & whites) and over dotting, revealing underneath the topographical landscape, including clay pans, soakages and spinifex mounds.

The bush plum is a food source (bush tucker ) for the Anmatyerre and Alyawarre (tribal names) Aboriginal people from the Eastern desert region of Central Australia.

The women also celebrate the spirit of the bush plum in their ceremonies with song lines and dance cycles.
